First Pakistani Miss Bikini Universe

While many Pakistanis are showing disapproval for their own native Mariyah Moten being crowned Best in Media at the Miss Bikini Universe 2006 pagent, The Stripper Blog congratulates her on being a positive liberal influence on conservative eastern cultures. The pagent was held in late August in China.

When asked for her thoughts on winning, twenty-two year old Mariyah said, “I have broken all barriers, and in the coming years there will be other Pakistani contestants, who will carry this title. My intention was to project Pakistan is a very modern way.” In a comment she made about what conservative Muslim critics are saying, Mariyah stated matter-of-factly, “Hardliners are basically people who try to impose their thoughts on others. We are not affected by people like them. We believe Pakistan is a country that is made up of moderate Muslims like myself. And yes, some people may not like the idea of a Pakistani girl in a bikini, but alas, we have done it and there is no way they can change anything about it.”

Its nice to see a girl doing something to liberate herself from cultural stigmas. This is what the strip-club industry is about. Every day we’re fighting a battle against repressive sexual social standards. We’re behind Mariyah Moten as she continues in her quest to “educate others about Pakistan.” The Stripper Blog wishes her the best and hopes that she doesn’t get too much harassment from extremists.

I guess there’s a little stripper in all of you…

This is an homage to all of us strippers from all of our fans. It pokes fun at us a little bit… but when you think about it, making fun of what the custies like is more like making fun of them than of us. (And you know we all make fun of them…lol…)

Caution: Men Have Hidden Cameras!

Girls, in this modern age of technology, what happens in the strip club does not necessarily always stay in the strip club. More and more, videos are showing up on websites like youtube and google video that are footage taken from somebody’s cell phone or small digital camera that they snuck into the club. I picked the following video as an example of this for a couple of reasons. First of all, you can’t see the girl’s face, so her privacy is pretty safe despite the fact that they announce that her dancer name is Casey. Second, she’s a beautiful dancer, so she wouldn’t need to be embarrassed anyways.

I just want you all to be careful about spotting hidden cameras on men. Many clubs don’t even allow cell phones for this very reason. If somebody is holding a cell phone up as though he’s recording somebody on stage, report it to the bouncer as a courtesy to the girl who is on stage (and, for that matter, as a courtesy to all of us). Be especially careful in the VIP or private dance rooms, where men are a little closer to the action. It is not right for you or any other girl to be video taped without her permission. Be safe and watchful!
